Sienna continued on until later that year Ray Gerber took off for the west and Jim Fish eventually moved back to New York. Hughie Thomasson a local Tampa guitarist who was working with a solo artist in New York moved back to Tampa about the same time. he joined the band in late 1972 and the group continued on. Later that year we changed our name to the Outlaws and Billy Jones moved back to Tampa to join the group. Monte, Hughie, Billy, Frank, and myself was the band in a van that went out and played every music club from Orlando to Cleveland and Atlanta to Indianapolis, signed with Arista records and became a fixture in the southern rock landscape.
